Install CWM Custom recovery on Gionee P2

JUST EASYLY FOLLOW UP THE LITLE PROCEDURE AND CWM INSTALL ON YOUR P2
  • 1. Download and install 'recoverytools_1.7.7.apk'

  • 2. Download 'gionee_p2cwm_recovery.img'

  • 3. Place downloaded 'gionee_p2cwm_recovery.img' to root of memory card (not in any folder)

  • 2. Run 'recoverytools' and select install recovery, select others, it will show you the 'gionee_p2cwm_recovery.img' then  placed in the memory card, and select it and confirm, reboot into recover immediately or enter your recovery later by pressing power button & volume down buttons together
  • ....Enjoy your Custom recovery.

    Thank you very much!! Worked like a charm!! I got the recoverytools from Google play store. Used the recovery.img file you provided and successfully did the process! ROM manager was saying that the mobile is not supported (I have flashed walton primo F2 on my Gionee p2 mobile). So, this technique did the magic!!
