- Download the ZIP file ioroot25 in here and unzip the contents to a folder
- Open the folder, right-click while holding down the Shift key on your keyboard and then select "Open Command Window Here"
- Go to menu > General Settings> About phone> Information Software for your LG G2 then tap eight times the build number
- Once in the menu development options , enable USB debugging
- Connect your PC to your LG G2 then type "adb devices" (without the quotes) into the command prompt to verify that the device is detected
- Enter the command "adb reboot recovery"
- Your smartphone will restart, select "apply update from adb" and confirm using the Power button.
- In the command prompt on your computer, type "adb sideload kk_root.zip"
- Wait until the operation and restart your smartphone
To verify that the root of your IgG2 under KitKat is effective, download the Root Checker Application in the Play Store.
